If you like: Aged Barolo. No words needed.

Taste like: An outstanding wine. Still showing a vibrant color, with aromas of prune and dried raisins. Acidity and oak balance well maintained for a 29-year-old wine. Decent body and the fresh minty notes remain. Old vintages from Gamot are bucket list wines. I am very fortunate, I tried a few old vintage and I always remain amazed by the ability of Clos de Gamot wines to age and transform.

Area: Cahors

Grape: Malbec (100%)

Occasion: Iconic wine that aged remarkably well, choose a good time, surrounded yourself by those you love.

Food match: Perfect shared with wine lovers and a meal topped with black truffle.
