About the wine: Lafleur wines are very special, in Pomerol with Vieux Chateau Certan and Petrus they are some of the best wines in the world. Château Lafleur is THE wine that engages the mind.

Taste like: Truffle, espresso bean, earth and plum aromas lead to a seductive medium/full bodied, Pomerol wine that finishes with fresh, deep, ripe black cherries and licorice. The 2008 could be open young or last for 10-15 years.

When to drink: 10-15 years.

Service: 15 degrees C. Cabernet glass. Decant for 30 min to 1 hour.

Food match: Braised, roasted or grilled meats ranging from beef, veal, pork and game. Pomerol pairs perfectly with tuna, salmon and of course with roasted chickens, mushrooms, truffle and any other earthy dishes.
