If you like: Drink now, concentrated and complex unicorn Cabernet blend. From one of the very rare organic certified 2.3 hectares Saint Emilion Grand Cru vineyard. Vines are pretty old (70 years old average) giving low yields. The humble Catherine Papon-Nouvel is not making lots of noise but she is probably crafting one of the best Bordeaux wine out there. Bucket list wine that could remind you the taste of neighboring Chateau Ausone.
Taste like: Quite a complex wine, with notes of herbs, plum, forest scents and crushed violets. Flavourful with a good texture it shows notes of mulberries and whispers of graphite. A very precise and driven wine.
Area: Saint Emilion Grand Cru (Bordeaux, right bank)
Farming: Organic (certified) which is rare and difficult in Bordeaux
Grapes: Cabernet Franc (80%) Merlot (20%) Saint Emilion wines are usually Merlot dominant.

Occasion: This is a special wine that we recommend to open and share with those you love. During a meal would be our suggestion but honestly decanted in the right glassware this wine will be perfect. It could also be a unique gift.
