Aromatics: Fresh black truffle, blackberries, black plums, mocha and earthiness.
Palate: The palate is filled with energy, led by black fruits and a delicious rich texture. Never exuberant yet charming and elegant thanks to fine tannins and chalky with a salty mineral finish.
About the wine: Natural winemaking, from one of Bordeaux’s best wine grower Stephane and Christine Derenoncourt. The vineyard is organically and biodynamically farmed which really reveals the expression of the place in the glass.
When to drink: Drink now or 10 to 20 years after the vintage.
Service: 15-16 degrees C. 30 minutes decanting will be just perfect.
Food match: Very versatile with food this wine will be great with roasted meat or a stew with vegetable and herbs.
