About the wine: Old vines some of them are 75 years old. Rich oxidative traditionnal Jura wine. Not topped off, lees contact until bottling, 4 to 5 years ageing in barrel, flor contact.
Taste like: It is a wine for the ages with a vibrant acidity underlying a dense and concentrated body with complex notes of beeswax, honey and resin as well as fresh minerals notes. Subtle oxidative style. The palate is rich, complex and balance with notes of cooked apple, crème brulé, curry spices and a fresh driven lime finish.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 10-12 years after vintage.
Service: Large Burgundy glass.
Food match: White meats, roasted chicken, chicken curry or veal osso bucco as well as with a aged Comté!
