About the wine: Vines planted in 1930 by Victor Gros founder of Montbourgeau, high density 10 000 vines per hectares, marl terroir very low yield. Aged in foudre and then in barrique, not topped up.
Taste like: some of the finest Burgundy white with a Jura personality. Concentrated, textured, rich but still very elegant.
When to drink: Now or drink in the next 10 years.
Service: Serving temperature 8 to 10 degree celcuis, use large Burgundy glass.
Food match: Old Comté! Chicken curry or roasted lobster.
