About the wine: Ladoix 1er Cru “Les Buis”: Made from a small 0.98 hectare 40 years old vineyard planted on chalky clay, exposed to the South, altitude 340 meters. The Nudant family started working in the vine in 1453, today rising star Guillaume Nudant in is 30's is taking the 16 hectares family estate to even higher level of quality by challenging himself while keeping a close eye on tradition and knowledge of generations past.
Taste like: This wine has a delicate nose with aromas of wild red fruits such as blackcurrants and cherries. Nudant use a little bit of whole bunch which give it an extra vibrancy on the noise and palate. Elegant aromatics, with a hint of earthiness, fruit purity, fleshy texture with good lenght.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 7 to 10 years.
Service: 14-15 degrees C. Large Burgundy glass. Decant in its yough.
Food match: Beef bourguignon, slow cooked meat stew or duck.
