About the wine: Gamay from soon to become 11st Cru of Beaujolais: Lantigné. This is a very good Beaujolais villages with a sense of place, thanks to its special soils of granit and clay mixed with blue shist coupled with the fact that Chopin have a lot of old vines including some planted in 1905. Partialy carbonic vinification.
Taste like: Light colour, dark small forest berries, fresh sour cherries, delicious medium body gamay. This wine deliver tone of flavour and pleasure, rasberries and strawberries are the main event on the plalate with lot more going on and a lovely finish. Deliciously dangerous drink.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 4-5 years after vintage.
Service: 13 to 14 degrees C.
Food match: Terrines, light red meat, grilled meat on the barbecue, grilled fish, charcuterie
