Appellation: AOC Bourgogne Rouge (Burgundy region)

Grapes: Pinot Noir (100%)

Farming: Organic

Aromatics: Mortet's Bourgogne rouge is bright, charming, very aromatic with plenty of red berries.

Palate: A generous and delicious medium bodied Bourgogne rouge. This wine is loaded with red fruits with a beautiful savoury element at the finish. One of our favourite red Burgundy out there!

About the wine: The Bougogne Rouge “Les Charmes de Daix” comes from 1.2 hectares on fine clay and underfloor of limestone rocks in Daix, as well as a few plots in Gevrey.

When to drink: Drink now or before 2028.

Service: 14 degrees C. Large Burgundy glass.

Food match: This medium body red will match with various foods, but we like to keep it simple with charcuterie.
