Appellation: AOC Jurançon moelleux (Jurançon region)

About the wine: Powerfull late harvest (no botrytis) sweet wine with incredible lengh! Au Capceu is for us one of the best off dry Jurancon out there and Jean Marc Grussaute is truly a magicien. For us this compare to some of the best Sauternes and off-dry produced in the world... Single vineyard. 3 days on skin. Aged 8 months on lees in barrel and foudre (5% new oak). 90g residual sugar, you won't feel it, very elegant and fresh.

Taste like: Orange colour. Preserved mango and abricot, complex mix of both, mentoly deliciousness. Sweet power action on the palate, perfectyl ripe mango and abricot again, pineapple, honey, safran. Amazing texture, the finish is mineral doesn’t let you on a sweet heavyness but better ask for another sip. Lenght is incredible with flavour lasting forever.

When to drink: Drink now or in the next 50 years.

Service: 10 degrees C. Decant if you can.

Food match: Foie gras with figs, spicy food, poulet tikka, roquefort blue cheese, nougat glacé, abricot and almond, pavlova, lemon tart.
