Category: Dry white
If you like: Lean, crisp and mineral whites.
Taste like: From the first vines planted by Clotilde in 1992. These 26 year old Chardonnay vines give very unique Petit Chablis flavours. No one wanted to buy this land in the 90's: it was far too steep! Clotilde knew this place had potential because of the kimmeridgien limestone terroir. The only reason it's considered Petit Chablis is legally the exposition north-ish. On the nose, notes of white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) mixed with citrus and grapefruit with a mineral, flinty edge. The palate is lively, crisp with aromas of peach, white fleshy fruit and lovely roundness. Salty and mineral, this Petit Chablis has length and vibrancy.
