Aromatics: An array of blossoms, hazelnuts, green apple, pear and subtle toasty notes from the ageing in barrel.
Palate: Great volume, rich texture yet very driven thanks to its beautiful acidity. Nuances and complexity. Fleshy, ripe pear, incredible length and saline finish.
About the wine: This 1er Cu is only separated by only a few metres and at a similar elevation than the Grands Crus. This is a spectacular Burgundy Chardonnay, get ready for some emotion.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 15-20 years after vintage.
Service: 12 to 14 degrees C. Serve in large Burgundy glass.
