About the wine: These vines now 60 years old, were recently acquired by the Nudant family and is a "Monopole" exclusivel owned by the Domaine Nudant. The first vintage was in 1995. Isolated from others with high walls (clos), the presence of Bouleaux (birch) will inspire its name.
Taste like: Tasting this wine, you will notice high flavour intensity, red berries, chery, ripe and tight tannins with a long and rich finish. This is a super delicate wine with plenty of finesse.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 10 years after vintage.
Service: 14 to 16 degrees. Decant for 30 min. serve in large Burgundy glass.
Food match: Beef bourguignon, slow cooked meat stew or duck.
