About the wine: From white shale terroir in Chorey-Les-Beaune. Barrel fermented Chardonnay, with only 4,000 bottles produced each year.


Aromatics: Ripe white peach, apple, white flowers and a hint of spice from the oak. Very charming.


Palate: Rich and creamy texture, fleshy white peach and apple. Generous mid palate and beautiful acidity for the finish.


When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-4 years.


Service: Between 10-12°C, large Burgundy glass.


Food match: Classic Sunday roast chicken.
