About the wine: 40 years old vines producing about 800 bottles a year. The vineyard is located in the small village of Pernand Vergelesses, also known as Charlemagne.The Corton Charlemagne is one of the 6 Grands Crus of the Côte de Beaune and is recognised as one of the best white wine in the world. This Grand Cru will need a long aging and resting time in order to come to its full potential. The Nudant family started working in the vine in 1453, today rising star Guillaume Nudant in is 30's is taking the 16 hectares family estate to even higher level of quality by challenging himself while keeping a close eye on tradition and knowledge of generations past.
Taste like: White flower, oaky yet elegant, high intensity, incredible power and length, structured, high flavors complexity, red apple, salty terroir finish, epic wine! This wine demands patience and requires five to eight years to fully express itself.
