About the wine: This Grand Cru is located in the small village of Flagey-Echezeaux, more than 50 years old vines, only about 3,000 bottles are made each years.
Taste like: Smoky, spice, earthy, yet delicate, velvety tannins still beautiful volume, multi dimensional, sweet red fruit, very fine toasty notes, incredible lenght.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 15-20 years.
Service: Decant for 30min to 1 hour, use large Burgundy glass. Serve at 14 degrees C.
Food match: Beef bourguignon, slow cooked meat stew or duck.
