Palate: A medium bodied savoury Pinot, with an elegant mid palate filled with red berries and spices. This is a great example from the Hautes Cotes de Nuits and top value Burgundy Pinot with complexity and purity at this price point.
About the wine: These wines are from a vineyard in the small village of Meuilley in the hills of Hautes Cotes de Nuits. With global warming, these once cooler vineyard are giving better and better results. Only 6,000 bottles produced.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 5 to 6 years after vintage.
