About the wine: These wines are from a vineyard in the small village of Meuilley in the hills of Hautes Cotes de Nuits. With global warming these once cooler vineyard are giving better and better results. This is a top value Burgundy Pinot with complexity and purity at this pricepoint. 35 to 40 years. 6,000 bottles produced.
Taste like: Charming and very expressive Pinot, red berries, savory, spice, elegant oak character, very approchable already and yet still complex.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 5 to 6 years after vintage.
