Appellation: AOC Bougogne Chitry (Burgundy region)

Grapes: Chardonnay (100%)

Farming: Organic (conversion)

Aromatics: A charming mix of citrus, fresh apple, stone fruits, subtle toasty notes and mineral iodine character.

Palate: Generous and charming with a beautiful fleshy palate filled with apple and peaches. This is an honest Burgundy wine showing a sense of place and true authenticity. Savoury salty finish.

About the wine: Old vines, Chardonnay grown on kimmeridgian limestone and aged on lees in old large oak barrels. Almost no batonage. Delicious white Burgundy farmed organically in Chitry, just 10 minutes from Chablis. Minimal intervention. Exceptional value.

When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-5 years after vintage.

Service: 12 degrees C. Large Burgundy glass.
