Category: Dry white

Appellation: Sancerre (Loire region)

Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc (100%)

Farming: Organic and Biodynamic certified

About the wine: Massal vines. Tournebride is a 30 years old vineyard, representative of the 3 Terroirs of Sancerre: the stony, rubble-like Kimmeridgian limestone (Caillottes) brings the aromatics on the noise, the clay-limestone or marl (Terres blanches) brings the structure in the mouth and the flint (Silex) brings the length. Aged in old barrel. No filtration.

Taste like: White flower, gooseberry and citrus. Flinty with a delicious savoury texture. This cuvee is fresh and vibrant showing beautiful tension and depth.

When to drink: Drink now or in the next 5-6 years.

Service: 12 degrees C. Decant when young.

Food match: Fish in sauce, white meats and fresh goat cheese.
