About the wine: Chalky clay terroir. 40 years old vines. These vineyards have a unique South-East exposure, located at the northern part of the Côte de Beaune right beside the Côte de Nuits. Ladoix is the garden of the Nudant family, situated just next door to the winery. Only two barrels of this wine were produced, with no added sulphur and whole bunch vinification.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-4 years after vintage.
Service: 14 degrees. Decant 30 min when drinking in its youth.
Food match: Beef bourguignon, slow cooked meat stew or duck.
