About the wine: Chalky clay terroir. 40 years old vines. These vineyards have a very unique South-East exposure. Located at the northern door of the Côte de Beaune right beside from the Côte de Nuits. Ladoix is the garden of the Nudant family next door to the winery. No sulphure added. Wholebunch. Only 2 barrels produced.
Taste like: Natural Burgundy Pinot with plenty of vibrancy and precision, purity, red berries, very aromatic, bright, sour cherry, wholebunch, spice. Light tannins. Savory finish.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-4 years after vintage.
Service: 14 degrees. Decant 30 min when young.
Food match: Beef bourguignon, slow cooked meat stew or duck.
