Aromatics: Vibrant bright strawberries, red berries red plums on the nose and beautiful subtle notes of fresh ferment.

 

Palate: A medium bodied crunchy red, with notes of strawberries, red berries. Gamay-esque vibe in style. Highly smashable!

 

About the wine: 5000 to 6000 vines per hectare, higher density than most vineyards in Entre-Deux-Mers. Cold, pre-fermentation maceration. Temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Short, traditional ageing in cement tanks.

 

When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3 years after vintage.

 

Service: Chilled or 14 degrees C.

 

Food match: Perfect match for stuffed tomatoes and roast chicken or Italian dishes like spaghetti Bolognese and lasagne.
