Appellation: Vin de France (Rhone & Ardeche region)
Terroir: Clay and limestone (from the cretaceous era) between the Rhone and the Cevennes. Mediterranean climate.
Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault
Farming: Organic farming
Aromatics: Fresh strawberries, stonefruits and some lovely spices.
Palate: Beautiful and generous French rosé, with plenty of flavour and a delightful strawberry and cream palate with a balance, vibrant and dry finish. This is great on its own and also perfect with food.
About the wine: Average 30 years old vines. Direct pressing, fermentation with natural yeast. Ageing 6 months in stainless steel tanks. No fining and light filtration. Incredible value for quality wine that punch way above its price point.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 2-3 years.
Service: 8 to 10 degrees C.
Food match: The perfect match for a summur aperitif or bbq with friends. Pair with some charcuterie, cheese, a salad or even with slightly a spicy stir-fry.
