Category: Medium bodied red.

Appellation: Vin de France (Bordeaux region, Entre-Deux-Mers)

Farming: Sustainable viticulture (certified)

Grapes: Cabernet Franc (60%), Merlot (30%), Syrah (10%)

About the wine: Cold, pre-ferment maceration. Cool fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Short, traditional ageing in cement tank.

Taste like: Lighter colour. Vibrant bright red berries on the noise and beautiful subtle notes of fresh ferment. Palate is medium bodied all about strawberries, Beaujolais-esque vibe and crunchy finish. Highly smashable. Delicious as well slightly chilled in summer.

When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3 years after vintage.

Service: Chilled or 14 degrees C.

Food match: Perfect match for stuffed tomatoes, roast chicken, spaghetti Bolognese, lasagne, ratatouille, a lamb tagine or even a red berry fruit compote.
