Taste like: Millesime 2004 was a classic Champagne year; it has this complex mix of both freshness and richness, ripe apples and toasted almonds. Precise and elegant with a long fresh mineral finish.

Food match: Champagne is one of the most versatile wine with food. We recommend mushroom dishes, seafood, butter-sauced fish, lobster,  triple cream cheese, Goat cheese, aged hard cheeses such as Comte or Gouda, mushroom dishes, truffle dishes, duck, game meat of a pavlova (but please avoid sweet desert).

Service: 8 to 10 C degrees in a normal wine glass.

When to drink: Drink now or cellar up to 2024.
