Category: Champagne, sparkling

Appellation: AOC Champagne (Côte des Bar region)

Grapes:  Pinot Noir (66%), Chardonnay (34%)

Farming: Biodynamic (Certified)

About the wine: Grower Champagne. Chloé is a unique no sulphite, solera perpetual reserve started in 2011 and renewed 25% per vintage, vinified in oak barrels for 50%, unfiltred and it’s a Brut Nature 0 dosage. No added sulphur since 2016. No Filtration. About 4300 bottles produced each year.

Taste like: Alive and vibrant with intense candied fruits, buttery and brioche notes, lots of texture and a citrus and salty finish. Delicay and lengh, this is a wine that is both very delicious and make you think a lot thanks to its complexity.

When to drink: Drink now or in the next 4-5 years.

Service: 8 to 10 C degrees in a normal wine glass.

Food match: Champagne is one of the most versatile wine with food. We recommend mushroom dishes, seafood, butter-sauced fish, lobster, truffle dishes, duck, game meat triple cream cheese, Goat cheese, aged hard cheeses such as Comte or Gouda or a pavlova (but please avoid sweet desert).
