If you like: Elegant, dry grower Champagne.

 

Taste like: The Cuvee Elégance Extra-Brut is slightly oxidative (10% is vinified in barrel), solar and deep with notes of blackcurrant. Yellow and white cooked fruits with a kind of onctuosity with a fresh and driven finish.

 

Area: Côte des Bar (Champagne)

Farming: Biodynamic (Certified)

Grapes:  Pinot Noir (80%), Chardonnay (20%)

Vintages: 2011, 2012, 2013

Disgorged: February 2019

Dosage: Extra-Brut, 4 g/l

Low sulfites

Occasion: Who needs an occasion? Brunch, lunch, dinner, celebration, party, Champagne all the way!

Food match: Champagne is one of the most versatile wine with food. We recommend mushroom dishes, seafood, butter-sauced fish, lobster, truffle dishes, duck, game meat triple cream cheese, Goat cheese, aged hard cheeses such as Comte or Gouda or a pavlova (but please avoid sweet desert).

Service: 8 to 10 C degrees in a normal wine glass.

When to drink: Drink now or up to 2025.
