About the wine: Gaïa is the product of shapes and encounters. This cuvee originates from a unique spherical fiberglass vat with a delicate and soft carbonic maceration. This small batch is the direct result of Raphael meetings across the world, from Australia where he learnt cold pre-fermentation techniques to the label’s calligraphy from one of his best friend in Japan, and off course the Beaujolais region for its terroir and the unique Gamay grape.
Taste like: A beautiful purple color, on the nose its a complex mix of spicy and floral notes with as well some violets. On the palate the wine is fleshy, full flavour with a delicate and harmonious silky texture. Intense with notes of blackcurrant and a hint of aromas from the ageing in the old barrels make this wine on of Beaujolais finest.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 5-6 years after vintage.
Service: 14 degrees C. Decant 30 min and drink in large Burgundy glass.
