Aromatics: Beautiful expressive Chardonnay, notes of apple, stone fruits, as well as elegant yeasty character and oak notes from the ageing. There is also some iodine sea like notes reminiscing of near by Chablis. 
 
Palate: Generous texture and power. Delicious texture with stone fruits, lemon, and savoury flavour. Unique tension and length showing the incredible potential of Molesme terroir. 
 
About the wine: Hand picked, natural yeast fermentation. Aging 2 years in amphora (30%) et aok barrel (70%). Production only 2754 bouteilles. Molesme is an ancient wine terroir already farmed by the Cistercian monks in the middle age before they build the Clos Vougeot in the Cote de Nuits. The Abbey of Molesme, founded in 1075, has been surronded by vines, since its origin, planted by the monks of the Abbey.This Abbey is the cradle of the Cisterian era and the landmark of the monks who worked with rigor and requirement the vineyard of Molesme. Vincent’s intuition to qualify these exceptional terroirs has been verified by the analysis of the subsoils expert of Emannuel and Claude Bourguignon (LAMS)
