Grapes: Chardonnay 80%, Savagnin 20% (topped up, non oxidative)
Farming: Organic (not certified)
Aromatics: On the nose this is Jura meets Burgundy, white fruits, spices, toasted notes, dried fruits and subtle oak character.
Palate: Concentrated Jura white with generous texture filled with fresh white fruits, creaminess and mineral power with a mineral and slaty finish.
About the wine: Aged in French oak foudre for 12 months (Topped up aka. Ouillé, non oxidative)
When to drink: Now or drink in the next 10 years.
Service: Serving temperature 8 to 10 degree C, use large Burgundy glass.
Food match: Comté, roasted chicken or roasted lobster.
