About the wine: Grower Champagne. Blend of two vintages. Brut Nature 0 g/l. No sulphur added since 2016. Chardonnay on chalk terroir in Montgeux.
Taste like: Magnificient Blanc de Blanc from Vincent's vineyard in Montgueux near Troyes. In deed Montgueux is one of the best place in Champagne to growth Chardonnay especialy thanks to its terroir of chalk. Subtle oxidative Champagne (27% is vinified in barrel), no dosage, round, fleshy and giving with both volume and length, yeasty freshly baked "brioche". The finish is incredible with chalky mineral and saline character.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-4 years.
Service: 8 to 10 C degrees in a normal wine glass.
Food match: Champagne is one of the most versatile wine with food. We recommend mushroom dishes, seafood, butter-sauced fish, lobster, truffle dishes, duck, game meat triple cream cheese, Goat cheese, aged hard cheeses such as Comte or Gouda or a pavlova (but please avoid sweet desert).
