Aromatics: Complex notes of beeswax, honey and resin as well as fresh minerals notes. Subtle oxidative style.
Palate: It is a wine for the ages with a vibrant acidity underlying a dense and concentrated body. The palate is rich, complex and balance with notes of cooked apple, crème brulé, curry spices and a fresh driven lime finish.
About the wine: Old vines some of them are 75 years old. Rich oxidative traditionnal Jura wine. Not topped off, lees contact until bottling, 4 years ageing in barrel, flor contact.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 10-12 years after vintage.
Service: Large Burgundy glass.
Food match: White meats, roasted chicken, chicken curry or veal osso bucco as well as with an aged Comté!
