Aromatics: Lifted and perfumed Syrah. Aromas of black raspberries, spices, black plums and notes of licorice. 
 
Palate: Elegant and silky Syrah, blackberries, very fine tannins, beautiful power, balance and freshness. Long and vibrant finish. This is pretty special Cote-Rotie which is both intense and subtle. Young wine yet giving so much already.
 
About the wine: Vineyard located in the "Cote Blonde" on schist terroir, most of the grapes are destemmed. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak barrels with 15% new oak.
 
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 10 years.
 
Service: 14-15 degrees. Cabernet glass. Decant for 30 mins to 1 hour.
 
Food match: Slow cooked meat dish, grilled meat with roast vegetable, meat stew.
