Aromatics: Super perfumed Syrah, very Cote Rotie. Aromas of black berries, licorice and oak spices.
 
Palate: Already very approchable and elegant for a young wine, lots of black fruits, meaty character, pepery spices, very good quality tannins, combination of power and flavour. This is a very promissing wine that shows that even a young Syrah from Cote-Rotie can be beautiful in its youth! 
 
About the wine: It comes from two terroirs, the Le Goutay and the Le Mollard mostly destemmed and aged in older French oak barrels for about 14 months.
 
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 8 years.
 
Service: 14-15 degrees. Cabernet glass. Decant for 30 mins to 1 hour.
 
Food match: Slow cooked meat dish, grilled meat with roast vegetable, meat stew.
