1985 Chateau du Prada, Bas-Armagnac, Baco

Appellation: AOC Bas-Armagnac (South-West France)

Grapes: Baco.

Aromatics: This Armagnac has a toasty character with lovely floral and herbaceous notes. Candied fruits and caramel notes.

Palate: This mono-varietal 100% Baco is one of Chateau du Prada’s trademarks. Smooth first, then the power comes mid palate. It’s both rich and elegant generously showing more candied fruits and caramel. This is an incredibly complex aged spirit, the finish never ends.

About this spirits: Chateau du Prada is a tiny family owned and operated by one person, producing Bas-Armagnac from their own vineyard from generations. Every bottle is bottled by hand at order. This is a rare single varietal Bas-Armagnac. 42% Alcohol.

When to drink: Drink now or for the next 50-100 years.

Service: Neat in a small wine glass or a whisky glass.

Food match: Too complex, we recommend this Bas-Armagnac to be enjoyed on its own.
