Soil: "Les Graviers" is a climate of Chambolle-Musigny. The vines of this plot are planted from North to South. The roots are deep on clay soil with gravel in the subsoil, which ensure good water retention and supports better hot and heavy summer time. (Graviers means small stones, or gravel)

Aromatics: Beautiful lifted nose with notes of black cherries, fresh raspberries, and earthy forest floor as well as elegant spices character.
 
Palate: Bright medium bodied Pinot Noir, fresh and vibrant texture with red fruits, berries and cherries. Lovely depth, refined minerality and baking spices finish. This Bourgogne Pinot from the Chambolle-Musigny area is complex and beautiful, fantastic value for the money Burgundy. 
 
About the wine: The lieu-dit ‘Graviers,’ located east of the RN74highway, not far from villages-level vineyard ‘Les Herbues,’ near the border between Chambolle-Musigny and Morey-Saint-Denis. The vines are approximately 30 years old. Hand harvested the grapes are sorted and then vinified usually destemmed with natural yeast in temperature-controlled tanks. Aged in older French oak barrels and terracotta or clay amphora ranging from 320L to 750L. The average percentage of wines ageing in amphore for the domaine is about 40% which is very unique in Burgundy and add purity of fruit and terroir transparency. Bottled unified and unfiltered or light filtration.
