Soil: Located in the village of Gilly-lès-Cîteaux and adjoining the village of Chambolle-Musigny, Les Bons Bâtons single vineyard benefit of a soil composed of clay and limestone as well as deep brown soil typical of the appellation.

Farming: Organic and biodynamic certified
Aromatics: Fresh Beautiful and complex Burgundy chardonnay, with notes of stone fruits, pear, citrus, white flowers, acacia and hawthorn.
Palate: Elegant Generous and elegant fleshy texture with delicious succulent aromas of stone fruits and ripe pear. This is really exciting entry level Burgundy Chardonnay with generosity and depth with subtle creaminess and nice mineral drive and tension. This is a must try!
About the wine: 'Bon Batons' is single vineyard near Chambolle-Musigny with vines around 30 years old. The grapes are sorted and pressed full cluster then fermented on indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks. Wine goes through malolactic fermentation. Aged in older French oak barrels and clay amphora. The average percentage of wines ageing in amphore for the domaine is about 40% which is very unique in Burgundy and add purity of fruit and terroir transparency. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
When to drink: Ready to drink now or after 4-6 years.
