Aromatics: Lifted and vibrant, plenty of red berries and red sour cherries with a smoky, earthy and spices edge to it.
Palate: Medium bodied with lots of energy, generous fruits and spice. This wine is a touch raw ('Brutes') yet charming and very enjoyable! This cuvee is made to be drunk early and without too much thinking, so grab a glass, turn the music one, share some tasty food with a few goods friends and enjoy the ride! After all the first time I met Damien he served me a glass of Brutes and we shared a pizza with a few other mates!
About the wine: This is Damien Bielle interpretation of natural wine and wine to be shared with friends. It's definetly more "libre", there is no addition of sulphur here yet pleny of pleasure and fun to be have! Natural fermentation, the wine is aged in concrete tanks with lofi winemaking. This wine is unfined, unfiltred.
When to drink: Decant for 1 hour and drink now or 4-6 years after vintage.
Service: 13 to 14 degrees C (slightly child in summer) in any wine glass.
Food match: Charcuterie, bbq meat, a burger or a pizza.
