About the wine: Thierry Navarre is known for his dedication to reviving and using ancient, forgotten grape varieties. This wine is a blend of ancient Ribeyrenc Blanc: known for providing freshness to the blend, Clairette du Languedoc: contributing to fruitiness and Grenache Gris: adding body and structure to the wine. To help set the context around this wine; La Revue de Vin de France claimed that Thierry Navarre is: “Amongst the elite of the area.” In terms of winemaking the grapes are hand harvested, following a natural fermentation and ageing in cement tanks on lees. The resulting wines are unfined, yet they are filtered.
