Aromatics: Fresh red berries, sour cherries, floral notes and fine earthiness.
Palate: Medium bodied and lively red. Vibrant and crunchy red fruits. Braucol blend at the top of its game, must try!
About the wine: Clay and limestone terroir. Low yield. Hand-picked. The Braucol is de-stemmed, 15 days maceration with hand punching down as well as pumping over. The Syrah goes through a semi-carbonic maceration. Vinification with no sulphur added. Ageing 16 months in old barrels. No fining. No filtration. Low sulphur added at bottling.
When to drink: Now or in the next 5-6 years
Service: 14 degrees.
Food match: Pizza, Bolognese pasta, charcuterie or pork cutlets.
