Aromatics: Beautiful phenolic notes from the skin contact. Very floral and expressive, with ripe peach and juicy pear.
Palate: Fleshy texture, this orange wine is savory yet dry. Very charming with plenty of ripe peach and pear, as well as some spice and lovely skin tannins flavours. A very well made orange wine - clean and very playful!
About the wine: Vines planted in 1945 after World War 2. 3 weeks on skin in amphora. No filtration and no sulphur.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 2-3 years.
Service: Chilled not too cold. Short decanting if needed.
Food match: Match with bold foods, including curry dishes, Moroccan cuisine, Korean dishes with fermented kimchi, and traditional Japanese cuisine.
