Aromatics: Pretty and lifted nose with delicate, aromatic, and "crunchy" red berries (strawberries) as well as blackcurrant. Notes of violet, subtle spicy, red pepper and elegant character.
Palate: Lighter bodied wine compare to the other cuvee from the domaine. Delicate palate with crunchy red fruits strawberries and raspberries, delicate and smooth texture. This is a fresh and vibrant Cabernet Franc with beautiful elegance and long subtle spicy finish.
About the wine: 'Clos de la Bienboire' is made from a 1.5-hectare single vineyard on Tuffeau. Bienboire means drinking well which is the historic and legal name of this vineyard since the Cabernet franc from this vineyard always produced lighter and pretty wines. The grapes are hand picked and sorted, destemmed, 4-day cold maceration, and stainless steel natural fermentation, aiming for early drinkability and delicacy. This cuvee is lighter in alcohol 12.5%.

Service: 12 to 16 degrees C.
