Aromatics: Intense aromas of red fruits, sour black cherries and some spiciness from the carbonic maceration.
Palate: Medium bodied Gamay with plenty of blackberries and black cherries on the palate, lovely ripeness and volume. Also a great drink slightly child in the summer. All very yummy!
About the wine: Hand harvested and sorting of the grapes in the vineyard as well as in the cellar. Carbonic maceration 5 days. One soutirage after malolactic fermentation. Ageing in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. No fining, light filtration.
When to drink: Drink now or in the next 3-4 years.
Service: 12 to 14 degrees C.
Food match: Aperitif wine, charcuterie, poultry or a pizza.
