Aromatics: Ripe black fruits, black cherries, smoky notes, herbs, dried tomatoes and elegant oak character.
Palate: Medium bodied wine, earthy with a generous structure and good tannins. The wine is now more elegant and approachable with age; showing savory texture, black berries and spices, a beautiful mix of fruit and development!
About the wine: Hand harvest, destemmed grapes, natural fermentation in concrete tanks. Cold pre fermentation for 48 hours. Light daily pumping over, infusion style. Aging for 24 months in concrete tanks, bottled without fining or filtration. Only a small amount of So2 is used at bottling and appears on the label. A truly unique Niellucciu with plenty of personality!
When to drink: Ready to drink now or after 6-8 years.
Service: 14 degrees, decanter for 30 min to 1 hour.
