Palate: Beautiful fleshy texture, with spicy ripe nashi pear, citrusy notes matching the nose, and a refreshing and elegant saline finish. We love the tension and balance in this wine, showing us how driven and delicious can Corsican white be!
About the wine: Albore means dawn in Corsican. Hand harvest, direct pressing, vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. Fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aging in tanks for about 6 months, bottled with a light filtration. Only a small amount of So2 is used at bottling and appears on the label.
When to drink: Ready to drink now, potential for aging 4 to 5 years.
Service: 10-12 degrees.
Food match: A brilliant wine for apero or to match with fish in sauce or seafood.
