Aromatics: Fresh strawberries, gooseberries, cranberries and pomegranate juice.
 
Palate: Lovely volume, with vibrant red fruits such as strawberries and cranberries, with some spices. Superb wine of tension and details.
 
About the wine: De-stemmed by hand, foot stumped grapes in an open fermenter, before pumping over. Aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness. Low sulphur to avoid reduction with Poulsard.
 
When to drink: Now or drink in the next 5 years.
 
Service: 8 to 10 degrees.
 
Food match: Roast chicken, salad, pizza or with fish.
